The Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve are only a few miles from Woody park. For those coming by air, it’s just a 23-mile drive to Denver International Airport. It’s also close to downtown Denver, which means you won’t have to worry about parking.

The John C. Garden, which is free and open to the public, is another attraction of the grounds. On Saturdays, Channel 6 will air a show entitled “Victory Garden” (in Japanese). The beautiful flora and exquisite craftsmanship are among the sights to see in this tropical garden. In the “Fine Craft” area, you may find both stunning flora and unusual goods.
